Webex Plug-In not getting Installed on new macOS Sierra

mbp13-gray-select-201610

Issue: Cisco Webex Add on Plug-in fails to install on the new mabook pro with macOS Sierra. It doesn’t give an error but it silently fails without installing the webex plug-in

Resolution:Open up the terminal window on your mac and create the below directory.

mkdir ~/Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins

After the directory is created, run the webex plug-in installer again. It should work!!

I have the same issue. I upgraded to Sierra and Webex stopped working. Will not load the Webex extension. The directory exists in my library

Mihaela says:

Click on the “Install Cisco WebEx Add-On” icon, in the dialog that pops. You will be prompted to agree to install an app downloaded from the internet. After agreeing, the add-on will install just fine.

Thank you. Worked perfectly! Just copy and past into terminal. I cannot understand why this needs to be done but Arun is totally correct.
